Devices and I/O

isobar can send events to several different types of output device.

• MIDI: Send and/or receive live MIDI note, control and clock events, either to an external MIDI hardware device or a software MIDI host such as a DAW
• MIDI file: Generate and store MIDI sequences in a .mid file
• OpenSoundControl: Send events using the Open Sound Control network protocol
• SignalFlow: Trigger events in the SignalFlow synthesis engine.
• SuperCollider: Sends events to the SuperCollider synthesis server.
• FluidSynth: Trigger notes in the free FluidSynth software synthesizer.
